Badesi Summer Carnival

The Badesi Summer Carnival is a long-standing local tradition. The parade of allegorical floats is organized by the Badesi Carnival Association, in collaboration with Proloco Badesi 2015 and the Municipality of Badesi. The event starts at 9:00 PM and takes place along the main street of the town. Not only do the allegorical floats and masked groups parade, but every edition of the Badesi Summer Carnival also offers its spectators the opportunity to get to know the typical Sardinian masks. Among the guests from past years are: “Sos Corriolos de Neoneli,” “Sos Merdules Bezzos di Ottana,” “Sos Traigolzos de Sindia,” “Sos Gigantes de Sennaru,” “Sos Cotzulados di Cuglieri.” The event boasts the presence of thousands of visitors and tourists.
